cody’s takeover
Cody is the Chief Operating Officer of Mamaka and handles everything from construction of new stores to forecasting future growth for Mamaka. He grew up in Texas, worked 4 years at Apple before starting college at the University of Arkansas where he met the co-owner of Mamaka, KK. He then left school going straight into full-time work where he re-connected with KK, got engaged and started working full-time for Mamaka. He is an incredible contribution to our family and our team.

What Cody Can’t Live Without
3D energy drinks are my go-to replacement for what was probably a concerning amount of pre-workout consumption through college. I use these as a pre-workout on strength training days religiously. 3D was started by Christian Guzman who owns a handful of other businesses such as Alphalete and the gym Alphaland. They have the best flavor options, 200MG of smooth caffeine with no crash and clearly I pretty much support anything Christian does.
We are spending the majority of our time in Fayetteville right now, so I don’t actually get to work out at Alphaland regularly but as an overarching statement; a gym of some kind I cant go a day without. Anyone who has ever traveled with me knows I don’t care if we have to sneak into a rec center, hop a fence into a golf clubhouse, or fake a guest pass if I don’t work out once a day I can’t function for anything else
At any given point in the day, I am probably subconsciously thinking at least 50% about dirt bikes, and 50% about whatever else I am working on at that given moment. It is definitely the thing I am most passionate about in life, and I am super excited to check off a handful of bucket list goals with racing soon. For better or worse KK has also become a walking thesaurus of Supercross/Motocross knowledge and I’ve honestly never been happier.

If there is anything that I love as much as action sports, it’s music. I am definitely one of those people who could listen to something all hours of the day and never get tired of it. Whether that means podcasts in the morning, watching YouTube videos at lunch or listening to my playlists at the gym headphones are a must. Right now I am using the AirPod pro’s but I was also on the Beats Studio3 over ears for a while and I love those too.
Bathroom Kit
The last one is a little bit of a mix-up, but for sure my bathroom kit; toothbrush, razor, fingernail clippers and Qtips. I am probably the most OCD guy you’ll ever meet with those 4 items and if I feel like my rotation for any of that hygiene gets messed up, it’s not great. I could live in the middle of the wilderness with nothing else, but if I couldn’t still shave my face and keep my fingernails clipped id be struggling.”
