Harvest on 25th

25th street has some of the best little spots in Waco (namely Clasé for thrifting and Sloane’s for drinks) but Harvest on 25th is a forever favorite. My go to at least once a week is either the classic taco or the avocado toast – but my recent addition was the chorizo hash and I regret nothing.

magnolia table

If there is one thing we love in Waco, it’s Magnolia. Chip and Jo really did it with this one. It’s a major staple to Waco now and while you wait for your table you can grab a latte at Take Away next door. My tip: ask to sit at the community table – it’s a shorter wait and you get to chat with new people while you eat!

MAMAKA Bowls

Because who would we be if we didn't mention our favorite spot for smoothie bowls, smoothies, tater tot tacos and coffee?

the food trucks at the silo’s

If you are visiting Waco i’m sure you are already going to shop at the silo’s; but lunch at the food trucks is unmatched. My favorite is club sandwich (hint - they do not sell sandwiches)!

Shorty’s

Another Waco staple and the inventor of the Pizza Pillow (probably) – people come for the pizza and stay for the pitchers! Also a Mamaka Blender favorite spot.

Milo all day

Milo is my #1 go to dinner in Waco! I am obsessed with the vibes and it brings a little bit of Austin to Waco. you have to try the crispy brussel sprouts or pimento cheese and crackers to start, the hot chicken tacos are to die for, and their marg is a MUST. Go next door to Splendid Oaks for dessert!

Get outside:

surf or beach day at waco surf

surfing??? In waco??? You absolutely read that right. You can do surf sessions, chill on their beach, or get a water park pass!!! It’s the best beach in waco (even if it’s the only???)

Get rooftop drinks at Bertie’s

A new spot to waco is Hotel 1928 (another chip and jo masterpiece) and their rooftop restaurant named Bertie’s is the perfect spot to see all of Waco and enjoy a sip!

pro tip:

The Little Shop on Bosque

Big tip!!!!! If you want to find discounted Magnolia items, head to The Little Shop on Bosque – it’s all markdown!
